28 teams tested their skills Saturday night on Lake Marion and Lake Moultrie of the Santee-Cooper lakes.
The weather was cloudy and humid with a slight breeze so conditions were pretty good for night fishing.
The talk at the scales was that most caught fish just some seemed they couldn't get the big bite.  The
teams after the blue cats caught their fish in a depth of 3 to 20 feet and the teams after the flathead cats
caught their fish around 28 to 38 feet of water.  Whether after blues or flatheads they all seemed to have
used white perch, bream and blue back herring as the choices for bait but using them for blues they would
cut the bait and for the flatheads they would use them alive.

The tournament was held out of Black's Camp in Cross, South Carolina.
